After almost 35 years on the Roycroft campus, Janice McDuffie has relocated her studio home in the classic survival stance of living above the shop.  This is not retirement, but rather a shift in focus to survive the economic downturn.

The majority of remaining stock produced on the Roycroft campus is still available for sale in three locations on the campus by glaze categories.

• Hamada Green and Shamo Yellow are available in the Copper Shop.
• Copper Glaze with Roycroft China is available at Roycroft Antiques.
• Black and White Glazes are available at Norberg’s Gallery.

This transition took five months of hauling and it will take many more months of glaze testing to create a new glaze palette suitable to the new firing conditions.  I hope to have the new studio completed and fully functional by late spring.  New products will be featured on this web site with plans to update the site in April. 

An Advanced Summer Class is planned for Saturday afternoons beginning in June.  This class is open to four students with previous experience and will focus on development of individual style with an eye for function, and glaze development.  Eight, four- hour sessions for $350.
